The post isn’t necessarily food related, but the Onyx Plate brought up something featured in it recently: she visited a restaurant and ate there alone, something I’ve never done. Maybe that should be a goal this year for me, to try this out, to see what it’s like.

Exactly; as a writer, being alone is an absolute necessity much of the time. There’s nothing more disheartening than attempting to write something and being constantly distracted by noisy people.

Well, I am a loner so I Love being alone. Just need a really interesting book and my coffee and just leave (let) me alone cause I never get lonely…
Well, I do get lonely, but there are a number of glorious moments when I have the coffee and my MacBook, and my fingers are blazing their expressive trail across the keyboard; God rest ye merry, any soul that interrupts the creative process.
